Our company was originally founded in the heart of Turku in 1992 to offer services to companies requiring professional and effective Swedish translations. While professional Swedish translations remain the core area of our business, we have since expanded our operations and range of languages. Our current main office is located within the creative business environment of Logomo in Turku, and we also have a side office in Tammisaari.<\/p>\n

Our guiding principle has always been to provide reliable, professional translations that meet with the needs of our customers. Each carefully crafted translation is the product of collaboration between two language professionals, one who does the translation and another who proofreads and edits the text. Either the translator or the editor is always a native speaker of the target language for the text in question. At Scandix, four of our translators translate into Swedish, one into Finnish and one into English. Thanks to our broad network of co-operating partners we can offer a wide range of language pairs, including the Nordic languages, the largest European languages, Estonian and Russian.<\/p>\n

The best result is achieved through the integration of all available resources \u2013 our language competence and the customer\u2019s specialised expertise. Scandix is a small enough firm to enable us to offer individualised services, and sizeable enough to guarantee that even larger translation commissions can be turned around within the agreed timetable.<\/p>\n
